**DIRECTOR OF MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT**

**Based in Sophia-Antipolis, French Riviera**

**MISSION**

The Director will develop and implement strategies to recruit, retain, and engage members. This role involves analysing new membership opportunities, developing acquisition initiatives, and fostering relationships with current and prospective members to drive membership growth and satisfaction.

The Director of Membership Development assumes a management level position which includes the following key responsibilities:

- Develop outreach and acquisition campaigns to **acquire new members** in areas related to ETSI’s Strategy
- Establish and maintain **relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and industry organizations** and participate in relevant events based on the potential for Member acquisition.
- Provide **content for social media and membership marketing**.
- Review **membership engagement and develop account management strategies**, with a strong focus on members that are not frequently engaging in ETSI activities.
- Identify and **exploit synergies** between membership and partnerships and other ETSI Departments
- Provide the CMO and other stakeholders with **regular reports on Membership development, retention, and acquisition activities** and provide **feedback on member satisfaction** when appropriate.

The Director of Membership Development will report to the Chief Marketing Officer.

**PROFILE**
- Strong experience in working with customers/association members.
- Sales and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of Telecommunications and standardization activities.
- Results-oriented and a strong team player.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dynamic and self-driven.
- Presentation and reporting skills - to structure and present results in a clear manner.
- Excellent English language skills - both oral and written.
- The assigned missions involve travelling in France and abroad.

The post will be based at our headquarters located in Sophia-Antipolis, a lung of greenery between Cannes and Nice.
