**About the role**

As a Superconducting Qubit Design Engineer, you will be part of the development of our new, cutting-edge **microwave architecture** embedding the **superconducting resonators**, and specifically designed to preserve and control their quantum states.

**Your mission will be to develop, simulate and troubleshoot microwave circuits and their controls.** You will work hand in hand with the experimental physicists building the quantum processor and develop state-of-the-art hardware to control and design an ever more complex system.

**Responsibilities**:

- Numerical simulations for the on-chip circuits and its packaging
- Accurate prediction of interface losses
- Accurate prediction of inter resonator couplings
- Design, development and troubleshoot of room temperature hardware (filters, PCBs, etc.)
- Design of the architecture of the upcoming multi-qubits circuits

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with EDA software Ansys HFSS or similar
- Experience in Python programming
- Strong knowledge in transmission line theory and wave propagation
- Knowledge on passive and active RF/MW components
- Experience in cryogenics and/or quantum mechanics
- Professional-level English proficiency, both written and spoken.
