Compliance Officer

As a Compliance Officer, you will work in the Compliance department of an international bank (Wholesale Banking, Commercial Real Estate Financing, Treasury Services, Private Banking). It is a small department of 4 compliance professionals with strong backgrounds, where everyone learns from each other.
The role
- You'll oversee staying updated on all legal and regulatory developments, analyse their impact on the bank, design and implement compliance projects in collaboration with stakeholders
- Perform a risk analysis and prepare a compliance assessment on the Bank's activity as well as on new products or services before they are marketed
- Carry out risk-based monitoring and evaluation in order to implement preventive/corrective strategies to address compliance issues
- Review and revise Compliance policies, procedures, and manuals
- Prepare regulatory reports
- Provide internal reports on a regular basis to governance bodies to keep local Management, the Board and Group Compliance updated on progress of compliance activities
**Profile**:
- 4/5 years of professional experience in financial institutions in a Compliance or Legal department
- University Degree with major in law (banking and finance law, business law, company law, compliance), finance, internal audit or related fields
- Fluent English
