**Network / Infrastructure Engineer - About the role**:
The Network/ Infrastructure Engineer/ Analyst role will be office based in their HQ office in Clermont - Ferrand ( with some occasional home-working allowed), working as part of a small team, to provide effective solutions to escalated technical issues, and provide a high level of technical expertise to the business. You will provide new technical solutions ( both strategic and tactical) ensuring effective working across the full range of services provided by the business and liaise with 3rd party suppliers and external contractors.

The key focus of the role will be to take responsibility for the operations of secure and highly available computing platforms, servers, and networks within the organisation. The role sits as part of the 2ndLine service desk team resolving networking and infrastructure incidents and implementing new solutions.

The role will involve working with technologies such as Networking ( WAN, Cisco / Meraki, TCP/ IP, VLAN), Cloud, Windows Server, AD, Exchange, Office365, AWS.

**Network / Infrastructure Engineer / Analyst - Key Responsibilities**:
Support of multi-site technical environments including VLAN, WAN, Microsoft, Cloud (AWS), Networking and Server

Take ownership of escalated issues as 2nd line support and resolving any queries within SLA

Resolution of configuration and deployment issues, ensuring management of core IT Infrastructure operations thru system monitoring and maintenance

Ensure that the network and all systems are operational.

Maintain and develop good working relationships with colleagues, other departmental members and suppliers, consultancy partners and third parties.

Monitor the operating environments, participate in roadmap activities, design and maintenance of solutions, and new technology.

Any other related duties as required by the business, including analysis, and advising on best practice.

Work across all areas of the business including engineers in a global team.

**Network / Infrastructure Engineer / Analyst - Essential Technical Skills**:

- VLAN, networks, MPLS, VPN, BGP, DNS, DHCP
- Cisco or Meraki,
- Cloud technology - O365 or AWS or AZURE
- Windows Server 2008, 2012
- AD, TCP/IP, Firewalls
- Backup software tools
- Hardware support and configuration and Disaster recovery
