**DUTIES**:
The Security Officer directly supports the Monaco Private Bank with responsibility for contributing across all of the services we oversee with an expert level focus on a subset of the products, oversight of the Cyber & information risk control environment, influencing/driving associated remediation programmes including adherence to the Group Cyber Policy and Control Framework. The Security Officer’s role is to ensure our services are operating at their optimum by building out and maintaining resilience, upgrading and patching, configuring systems and working with customers to meet their requirements.

The CSO Security Officer is member of the Monaco Cyber & Information Security team, thus collaborating closely with his peers and deputizing when needed.
The CSO Security Officer reports into the Cyber & Information Security Manager (Monaco).
- Creation and review of daily Privileged Access reports. Investigate ways to improve efficiency of these checks and align to Global Standards where possible.
- Review and approval of privileged access requests.
- Support the JOC and incident response teams for detected security events. Ensure any issues or risk events related to cyber and information security are recorded in a timely manner and properly escalated to relevant stakeholders. Define relevant action plan and ensure all actions are tracked and completed successfully.
- Ensure risks arising from changes and new projects are properly identified, assessed and managed. Provide project support, assurance, remediation support, and guidance to the business. Assist the business with identifying alternate solutions or compensating controls where requirements are not met, or provide guidance for appropriate risk acceptance.
- Vulnerability management across Monaco infrastructure, including review of monthly external scans. Ensure any security threat, vulnerability, non-compliance and risk specific to the BU is properly followed-up, escalated and remediated.
- Coordination of local security related initiatives (PenTests, Upgrades of security platforms etc.), local delivery of global cyber projects and local remediation of large-scale cyber issues identified by Group security teams.
- Maintain and operate supported security toolsets:

- Creation and maintenance of accurate, high quality documentation
- Maintain Disaster Recovery strategy and coordinate DR testing
- Plan and coordinate lifecycle and capacity management
- Implement enhancements to service
- Incident / Problem / recovery activities
- Remediate Audit and Control issues
- Review datacentre access reports on a monthly basis.
- Oversee physical equipment disposal in line with security policy.
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise for all IT security related queries, direction to strategic projects and business initiatives as required, and CSO sign-off when required.

**PROFILE**:

- Strong understanding of the risk based approach, experience with risk analysis
- Proven IT security engineer, with good working knowledge of a number of assurance security tool sets; Privileged Access management, Endpoint Protection (DLP, Anti virus), Vulnerability Assessment, Firewall Assurance,
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, working experience within large and complex projects
- Proven working experience of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with scripting / programming languages, Python, PowerShell, Chef, SQL
- Abilty to lead and support both internal and external audit requirements E.G - ISAE
- **Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications**:

- Solid understanding of networking technologies; switches, routers, firewalls, proxies, IDS, IPS.
- Understanding of cloud technologies and automation in a operational enviroment; AWS, CloudFormation, Azure, GCC
- Ability to work in remote teams, set and control own work load
- An understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps
