**BAT FRANCE IS LOOKING FOR A PLANNING INTERN for 6 months**

**SENIORITY LEVEL**: Internship

**FUNCTION**: Marketing

**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

As Strategic Planning Intern, you’ll be in charge of understanding the market dynamics and the competitive environment within the industry in order to produce accurate forecasts.

You will play an important role communicating to the Marketing community the results of our brands in terms of volumes and shares

**Reports to**: Planning Manager***

**Reporting Level**:Manages self

**Geographic Scope**: Local

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Prepare regular reports on our brands market shares & volumes
- Provide inputs to the demand forecast manager by analysing the launches of new products, pricing, market trends, competitor activities
- Support in preparing presentations, pricing brand boards and ad hoc requests
- Upload correctly reported sales volumes into the internal systems (BPC, BI, BO)
- Manage effectively and update databases/ archives related to industry and company performance

- Do you have a solid Excel knowledge and a great problem-solving ability?
- Are you an analytic person excited about new challenges in a fast-changing environment?
- Are you a master of prioritizing and coping with tight deadlines?

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- At least 6 months experience in marketing or commercial
- Good understanding of business environment, ideally in an FMCG industry
- Proven track of analytical tasks or projects
- Complex and big data analysis experience
- Attentiveness to data accuracy
- Management of figures & large databases effectively
- Robust knowledge on Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent in English, Good level of French is desirable
