**DEPARTMENT**:
The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) department is a key function within Group finance with regards to the management and analysis of the SCOR’s Financials (e.g. Landing, Planning, and Actuals). It is a key stakeholder to senior management, auditors, business units and external communication functions, with a high involvement in strategic projects such as the transition to the new IFRS 17 standard.
This role will provide you with a holistic overview of the company financials and the reinsurance industry, whilst focussing on analytics.
Within the “Financial Planning & Analysis” team, you will be involved in various Group finance related matters:
- Analysis of the quarterly financial statements, performance measurement, variance analysis vs Plan and Landing
- Participation in building internal and external presentations / analysis
- Compilation and review of quarterly financial results presentation to Executive committee
- Transverse analysis and business partnership by Division and/or process area
- Participation in the transition of Group FP&A processes under the new IFRS 17 standard
- Monitoring of market publications on the new IFRS 17 standard
- Peers benchmark and market analysis on specific topics
You are currently in a Top tier Business or Engineering Schools with a Finance expertise.
The position requires the following:
- Successful professional experiences in Corporate Finance / Bank and/or Insurance / communication related roles within finance functions
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
- Ability to think logically, quickly gaining a thorough understanding of new topics
- Develop & convey compelling messages
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (English, French)
- Being highly reliable and committed, open and communicative, able to handle confident information, capable of on-going learning, exact and thorough, being flexible, keeping overview in turbulent situations, and enjoying meeting people and interacting
- Advanced Excel, Power-point skills
