As a member of Zayo’s Solution Architecture Organisation, the role of Technical Solutions Analyst is a dynamic opportunity for individuals looking to begin a technical career in the Telecoms Industry. By partnering with the Solution Architecture Organisation, each Technical Solutions Analyst will be encouraged to develop their technical skillset through org-wide mentorship and hands-on learning. Core responsibilities will be in assisting Sales in revenue targets by designing simple solutions so quotes can reach our customers within a 5-day internal service level agreement. Other core responsibilities include creating Google KMZ requests for new and existing services, general administration tasks and supporting senior members of staff with keyhole support. **Responsibilities**:
- Sales Support_- Assist the Solution Architecture Org driving sales through operational support-
- Utilize GIS-based systems, previous solution designs, Zayo product knowledge, and specific requirements to support customer requests-
- Assist in the preparation of proposal responses and cost-effective solution designs-
- Solution Design_- Design and document solutions that meet specific customer requirements following Zayo’s standard product offerings.In addition to learning all required network engineering material, the Technical Solutions Analyst will be expected to stay up-to-date with general industry and technological developments.-
- Planning and Logistics_- Manage your own time aligned to business priorities-
- Provide regular updates and communication to internal colleagues (sales, engineering, technical operations, commercial teams)-
- General_- Adhere to all company standards and overall business professionalism.-

- Salesforce, Google Earth, ESRI, MyWorld/GE Smallworld-
- Network design (emphasis on fiber, Layer 1, 2, and 3)-
- MAN technologies and structures (including WDM, and Ethernet)-
- Internet technologies, functionality, and services-
- Networking protocols (emphasis on Layers 1, 2, and 3)-
- Data networking technologies, functionality, and services (LAN, MAN, WAN, VPN)-
