The Position

Supply Chain Business Analyst

Job Summary

Role- The supply chain Business analyst creates and maintains reporting tools for the Business Planning team- To support the Sales & Operation Planning (S&OP) maturity development, he/she will be a key contributor in the implementation of new IT tools. He/she is part of the Business Planning and Supply Chain department, and he/she has a key role fluidifying the department work.

**Responsibilities**:
- Build and improve the Supply Chain reporting tools to detect, analyse and communicate KPI’s and key supply risks during the executive S&OP meeting- Propose solutions to harmonize, simplify and automate analysis tools (demand, inventory, planning ) for the S&OP Team- Support the S&OP team in the preparation of the S&OP meetings by ensuring data generation and updating monthly files/metrics (e.g: forecast accuracy, inventory report)- Leverage business and supply chain analytic best practices from other Business Areas of the Imerys Group (BA), and when relevant, adapt the tools to the business- Prepare Ad_hoc analysis to support decision making process

Project management:
- Key contributor to support the new Supply Chain Systems Implementation by mobilizing resources inside and outside the team (IT, Finance, Sales etc )- Identify and reconcile business needs with IT system functioning design-
- Data gathering and verification for implementation preparation-
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT)-
- Facilitate user training-
- Change management during new system and process implementation, promote continuous improvement culture in the team

Title & Position in the organisation- Title: Supply Chain Business Analyst- Reporting to: Demand Planning and S&OP Director- Location: Paris- Perimeter of action: Business Area Performance Minerals EMEA, 80 sites, 24 countries, 1.2 billion sales, +6 000 customers served.

Competencies & Experience

Key competencies- Strong analytical skills- Very good communication skills- Synthetic approach: able to summarize and simplify complex and/or technical topics- Very at ease with data management, ability to quickly learn & use IT tools, advocate for data integrity- Agile & adaptable in an environment where data is not always easily accessible- Ability to propose solutions- Willing to be hands-on and with a can-do mentality- Very good Interpersonal skills- Project management- Knowledge of SAP is a strong plus- Ability to work in Microsoft Excel, Power BI and Google suite- Fluent in English, any additional language is a plus (French notions appreciated)

Ideal background/ experience- 5+ years of in production, logistics or planification

Accountability- Supply chain KPI’s (Forecast Accuracy/Bias/Day Inventory Outstanding,Inventory level ), adherence to S&OP plan, new IT tool implementation
