The Transfer product team is responsible for building on the success of our widely beloved file delivery service used by hundreds of millions of people each year. Our unique business combines a productivity tool with an award winning advertising platform showcasing highly designed promotional wallpapers developed in-house by a dedicated studio.
You’ll be joining the team at an exciting stage of new development as we build the next evolution of our service. The Transfer product is the highest impact product for our business.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team which includes designers, engineers, product managers, data analysts, and more. Our goal is to collaborate with teams across the company to create the future of WeTransfer that stays true to our mantra “beautifully obvious.”

**You will**:

- Design flows and features for the flagship WeTransfer product across web and mobile. Bonus if you have strong experience with specific native platforms (iOS/Android).
- Collaborate with product managers, user researchers and data analysts to understand the business requirements, user goals, and technical constraints that shape our product. Synthesize these inputs to design elegant, intuitive solutions for our users.
- Lead the end-to-end design process, from framing the problem, testing your assumptions, prototyping a range of solutions, to launching and measuring success.
- Partner with engineers throughout the development lifecycle to deliver high quality, accessible software for our global user base.
- Collaborate with other designers to develop and expand our design system.
- Participate in design reviews and share your work regularly with the design team and the broader product team.

**About you**:

- You have a portfolio that displays strong product and interaction design sensibilities.
- Can lead and mentor others. Whether it’s defining product goals, visualizing a potential future, or providing design guidance, you enjoy bringing clarity and highlighting opportunities for the team and product.
- You are a “T-shaped” designer who is proficient across the product design discipline (identifying opportunities, sketching and wire-framing concepts, mapping customer journeys and user flows), but you excel at crafting pixels.
- Have an inquisitive attitude. You know how to approach complex problems, and should be comfortable with ambiguity and abstraction.
- You're skilled in explaining your work, process, and decisions to stakeholders and look for feedback to help you produce your best work.
- You are a self-starter who can work autonomously in our hybrid, globally distributed work environment.
- Have 5 plus years of relevant design experience at a product-driven tech company.
