**Job description**:

- Ensure vessel operability on projects. He knows and he is dedicated to vessel technical, and he is accountable for providing technical support to the Vessel Operations Manager, the Offshore Construction Manager, the project and marine personnel on board.- He/She facilitates the link between the vessel & the office teams, and between project & marine personnel on board.**Contribution**:

- 1. In order to provide technical support to the Installation teams either at the office or on board of the vessel, he/she has to:
- 1.1. Act as first point of contact for vessel equipment and technical matters.- 1.2. Ensure that all technical vessel documentation is up to date.- 1.3. Ensure the successful coordination of the mobilization / demobilization of projects.- 1.4. To assist the Installation Engineer in their queries regarding the use / availability and set-up of SBM vessel equipment for the operation.- 1.5. To represent the offshore project crew in HAZID/HIRA, pre-mob meetings etc.- 1.6. To assist with preparation of installation procedures.- 1.7. To collate, file and report the as-built documentation relating to project operations.- 1.8. To ensure equipment, installation aids, tooling are prepared in a timely manner in advance of operations.- The measure of your effectiveness in this will be:- Stakeholders feedback based on the quality of inputs given for deck layout preparation.
The Project Execution Plan is executed in time and budget respecting the Company standards for quality and safety.
Vessel operations uptime
- 2. In order to provide technical support on project activities to the Offshore Construction Manager and project team (offshore), he/she has to:
- 2.1. Develop and prepare accurate and complete task plans and procedures for vessel specific activities.- 2.2. Support and advise the project team on board on daily tasks during the operation / execution phases.- 2.3. Anticipate and ensure the back to back / replacement of the Installation Engineer when required (i.e: night shift)- 2.4. To take care of vessel logistics and manage / organized offshore personnel crew changes when required.- 2.5. To follow and update POB, fuel consumption and as-built planning.- 2.6. To assist new comers to get familiarized with vessel policy and good practice.- 2.7. To support Client on admin duties.- The measure of your effectiveness in this will be:- Feedback from the Project team, Offshore Superintendent and Client on the quality of the offshore delivery.

- 3. In order to ensure that project is executed within Company standards, he/she has to:
- 3.1. To develop awareness of Company and vessel safety management systems and to take an active role in procedural and operational safety culture.- 3.2. To strictly follow Company procedures.- 3.3. To gather and file all the necessary information in the vessel database in order to keep sufficient knowledge on board.- 3.4. To update e-DMS documentation when required.- The measure of your effectiveness in this will be:- Accuracy and readiness of the technical documentation in EDMS.
Company standards strictly followed up during offshore operations.
- 4. In order to ensure the readiness and integrity of the vessel project equipment for a project execution, he/she has to:
- 4.1. Monitor the vessel project equipment on board. Anticipate and ensure that the maintenance of the equipment is properly done.- 4.2. Ensure the vessel and the equipment have the requested certifications to operate.- 4.3. Guide and monitor supply chain processes for vessel project assets and consumables needs on board.- 4.4. Supervise the Storekeeper on vessel project equipment activities, ensuring the right level of stock on board.- 4.5. Prepare an accurate and complete reporting over the equipment on board and ensure that lesson learnt linked to vessel assets are well implemented.- 4.6.
