Job Position: Yacht Manager

G-Yachts is a yacht brokerage company based in Monaco, with a dedicated team of yachting experts. We are looking for a new Yacht Manager to join our company.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Vessel Operations Management**:

- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of superyacht operations, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient and safe operation of the vessel.
- Liaise with captains, engineers, and crew to address any operational issues promptly.
- Participation in the Emergency Response Team

2. **Crew Management**:

- Recruit and manage a professional crew to provide exceptional service to owners and guests.
- Schedule crew rotations, manage performance evaluations, and facilitate ongoing training and development.

3. **Financial Management**:

- Develop and manage budgets for vessel operations, maintenance, and crew salaries.
- Monitor expenses and identify opportunities to optimise costs without compromising service quality.

4. **Regulatory Compliance**:

- Stay updated on maritime regulations and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and legal requirements.
- Maintain documentation and records to demonstrate compliance with applicable regulations.

5. **Vendor and Supplier Management**:

- Source, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers for goods and services.
- Ensure timely delivery of supplies and materials required for vessel maintenance and operations.

6. **Other**
- Assisting to obtain new management business and cross-selling all G-YACHTS services.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the superyacht industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of maritime regulations and safety standards.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and financial resources effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Flexibility to travel and work irregular hours as needed.
- Fluent in English and French (other languages a plus)
- Safety Management - ISM & ISPS
- High-level of written and verbal communication skills
- IT skills (Outlook, MS Office Package, PDF creator)
- Good organisational skills
- High attention to detail and deadlines
- Able to prioritise and multi-task
- Able to maintain high level of discretion
- Team player
- Salary will be discussed and decided depending on skills and qualification
