**About the role**:
We are seeking a highly creative and results-driven **Reels & Shorts Content Creator** to lead the creation of viral short-form video content across Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.

This is a full-time, hands-on production role for someone who lives and breathes social media trends and knows how to turn ideas into scroll-stopping videos. You will own the full process — from researching trends and scripting, to producing, editing, and publishing — with one clear mission**:to grow our organic reach, views, and followers across platforms through engaging, shareable video content.**

You’ll join our Marketing team and work closely with our social media manager and marketing director, but you’ll be the primary owner of short-form content output across multiple Ruby Labs brands.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Content Ideation & Research**
- Monitor Reels, Shorts, and TikTok daily to identify emerging trends, sounds, hooks, and viral formats.
- Adapt trends to fit each brand’s voice, audience, and message.
- Brainstorm new ideas that have the potential to go viral organically.

**Scriptwriting & Planning**
- Write short, impactful scripts or storyboards that grab attention in the first few seconds.
- Plan and organize content shoots ensuring consistent creative output.
- Develop creative angles for each brand and align with broader marketing goals.

**Video Production & Editing**
- Film, edit, and optimize Reels/Shorts for maximum reach and engagement.
- Ensure all videos are native to each platform, using trending sounds, captions, and pacing.
- Maintain a consistent aesthetic and tone aligned with each brand’s identity.

**Publishing & Optimization**
- Post daily Reels/Shorts on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Write engaging captions and select relevant hashtags.
- Track performance, iterate based on analytics, and double down on high-performing formats.

**Performance Tracking & Reporting**
- Analyze metrics such as reach, views, engagement rate, and watch time.
- Prepare performance reports and insights to guide future content direction.
- Stay accountable to KPIs focused on organic growth and audience reach.

**Qualifications**:
**Experience**
- Minimum **2 years of experience** creating short-form video content for social platforms (Reels, TikTok, Shorts).
- Proven ability to **create viral or high-performing videos** (please provide portfolio or examples).

**Technical Skills**
- Proficient in video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar).
- Deep understanding of platform algorithms and engagement triggers.
- Strong copywriting and storytelling ability for short-form content.
- Motion graphics and sound editing experience.

**Creative Mindset**
- Excellent eye for trends, storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
- Comfortable in front of the camera or directing talent as needed.
- Highly autonomous, proactive, and driven to create content that performs.

**Nice to have**:

- Experience managing multiple brand accounts simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of data-driven creative iteration.

**Interview Process**:

- **Application Submission**: Provide your CV along with a portfolio or examples of short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, or TikToks) you’ve created that generated strong reach or engagement.
- ** Recruiter Screening (40 minutes)**: Discuss your background, experience, and fit for the role.
- ** Task Assignment**: Create and submit 2 short-form video examples following a trend or concept relevant to one of our brands.
- ** Final Interview (60 minutes)**: Meet with the Marketing Director to discuss your creative process, content ideation workflow, and vision for organic video growth at Ruby Labs.
