**About Valiantys**
**Your assignment**
One of the team member leaves in maternity leave soon that's why Valiantys Group is looking for an Accountant based in Toulouse for short term contract to start ASAP. (renewable/ 6 months minimum)
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for Europe accounting.
**Things you'll be working on
You will:
- be in charge of customer and supplier accounting (VAT, expense reports, etc.)
- be responsible for the monthly lettering, payment and bank reconciliation
- be in charge of payroll entries
- perform account reconciliations on assigned balance sheet accounts
- record various recurring transactions
- assist with the month-end close procedure
We use Quadra and Xero. (NetSuite soon)
**What you need to be successful**
You have a 3 or 4/5 year degree in accounting with a minimum of 3 years experience, ideally in an accounting firm.
General accounting and Excel have no more secrets for you.
You appreciate cost accounting.
You speak French and English fluently and know the English accounting lexicon.
