The Position

Logistics Optimization & Operations Intern

Job Summary

Missions:
The intern will be involved in various projects such as:
Warehouses charges and network optimization- Prepare the implementation of the Transport Management System and improve current utilisation for the already equipped.- Load optimization & build a dashboard to be able to have a full view on the logistics.- Improve OTIF in order to increase customer satisfaction.- Providing logistic support and overseeing the overall logistic processes in support of the team and objectives of the organisation.- Timely and cost-effective release of loads.- Execute logistics support policy, processes and methodologies to the general benefit. (Choose the logistics routes in compliance with the regulations and safety rules in force)- Support the administrative documents related to each transport operation.

Profile:
- Education: Preparation of a Business Master or a Master in Engineering with a specialization in Supply chain/Logistic in a TOP university or Grandes écoles- Willing to develop his/her knowledge in managing and improving the logistics processes.- At ease with project management- Continuous Improvement mindset well developed- Languages: full professional proficiency in English and French. A third language (German or Italian..) is a plus- Autonomous and self starter- Appetence for Logistics topics and project management- IT interest-
- Experience with G Suite (Sheets, Slides, data studio..)- Creativity, reactivity and ability to deal quickly with unexpected situations.- Ability to work independently.- Operational hands on- Willing to travel if required
