**Skills, knowledge, experience required**:
- A Bachelor’s or university degree in IT or equivalent by valid professional IT certifications in the domain of administration/operations of Linux systems;
- Ability to perform duties described below;
- VMware vSphere and vCenter knowledge and experience.
**Desirable**:
- Hands-on knowledge about Red Hat Ceph Storage;
- Knowledge of:
- Red Hat OpenShift;
- Container orchestration.
**Duties/role**:
- Installing and configuring servers with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) OS and system components;
- Maintaining and adapting the configuration of server software and system components lifecycle Management;
- Leveraging Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform whenever and wherever possible;
- Designing and implementing Red Hat solutions;
- Developing and maintaining automation scripts using Ansible/Python for configuration management;
- Maintaining and updating Red Hat products infrastructure;
- Acknowledging, troubleshooting, and resolving tickets that are assigned to the team in a correct way;
- Escalating incidents internally or to third-party partners when required;
- Maintaining and monitoring the infrastructure, including incident and problem resolution;
- Troubleshooting and coordinating with third-party suppliers as well as with the central IT department of the customer;
- Advising the project team and the Agency in areas such as capacity management;
- Performing contingency planning, environment planning, configuration management, and other relevant tasks related to the role;
- Maintaining relevant documents/manuals describing the system and its infrastructure;
- Providing input in organizing and holding knowledge transfer sessions;
- Participating in standby 7x24 (1 week/month);
- Providing input for incident, problem, and defect post-closure analysis to the Incident/Problem Manager and/or the Technical Team Leader;
- Participating, on a punctual basis, in specific projects related to own specialty.
