- Product quality and integrity is a non-negotiable prerequisite, either from a compliance or from a consumer safety and experience from standpoint,
- Since the launch of the Quality Roadmap “Delighting Consumers”, the momentum is even bigger, placing end-to-end Quality at the heart of the strategy, from innovation and sourcing to consumer listening, driving Quality culture towards excellence,
- Product regulatory requirements are increasingly complex and challenging, varying between countries and over time: packaging regulations, contaminants, banned chemicals, reduced thresholds ,
- Other areas of risk also exist in relations with media scrutiny, consumer’s expectations or internal policies,
- This is accelerated by innovation, especially when it goes outside the field of traditional activities,
- This creates a high risk for the business, either at brand level (ability to produce and sell), or at Group level (corporate reputation).
- Purpose of the job:_
Implement efficient and robust Quality processes and actions across the Group through the Quality Roadmap, covering product quality and food safety as well as other aspects of Quality with an end-to-end perspective.
Contribute to spreading Quality culture towards excellence promoting Quality as a key shared business priority.
Contribute to ensuring product compliance, providing necessary sources of information to the affiliates, proposing Group positions on specific topics requiring interpretation and providing support to the affiliates.
ROLE & RESPONSABILITIES
- Mission 1: Implement the Quality Roadmap
o Ensure the coordination of the Quality Roadmap Task Forces
o Ensure all Task Force are live and will deliver accordingly
o Prepare with the Head of Quality and Compliance the dedicated Quality Roadmap Steering Committees with a focus on prioritization and resource management
- Mission 2: Coordinate Food Safety and Regulatory Watch across the Group with the aim to ensure product compliance
o Identify with the QSE and Food Safety Analyst the shared sources of regulatory information related to product compliance across the Group (compliance, food safety, labelling, packaging rules, etc ) and ensure it covers the Group needs for current activities and innovation,
o Ensure the Watch done by the QSE and Food Safety Analyst is shared, read and associated pending and emerging are known (including media risk).
o Deliver ad-hoc assistance to Group entities in the field of compliance and regulation analysis
- Mission 3: Carry strategic oversight of product quality and integrity (PAS)
o Manage the process of Product Analytical Screening: definition of scope, protocol and labs, collection and analysis of results, follow-up,
o Deliver ad-hoc assistance to Group entities in the field of product safety and risk assessment.
- Mission 4: Coordinate the community of experts and managers around Food Safety and Product compliance and communicate
o Ensure Food Law Hub and Quality Hub are used actively for communication purpose with an objective to break silos in between Affiliates and provide broadly key information on Quality and Food Law
o Create and manage a formal team of identified “Quality, Food Safety and Compliance correspondents”, ensuring that information is shared and coordinated across the Group to manage associated risk
- Mission 5: Contribute to other Group initiatives
o As an expert, participate actively to policy making, guideline development, etc
o Participate to practice sharing, networking, training, auditing.
o Support Operations each time needed in matters related to product quality.
- Mission 6: Quality KPis
o Ensure Group Quality KPIs are monitored with the right level of robustness
o Ensure objective regarding key KPIs are defined with the adequate ambition
o Drive KPI communication and animation
PROFILE
- Professional experience: at least 5 years
- Initial experience:
o Strong technical background regarding food industry (process, innovation )
o Expertise in quality/food safety/food law and risk assessment
o Strong knowledge in Food Law
o Specific knowledge of wines and spirits as an added value
