**Then this position might be for you**
SPX Flow is seeking a passionate and proactive Project Buyer to join their global team and work on unique projects from proposal to delivery. In this role, a perfect blend of purchasing experience and project management as well as a positive and proactive attitude are key to the success of every project.
**What you’ll be doing**
As Project Buyer, you will direct, plan and coordinate purchases of materials, supplies and services following established purchasing policies and procedures, and optimizing price, delivery and terms to support N&H Systems business:
Your key responsibilities will be (among others):
- Prepare bid requests, review requisition, and confer with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule to support Proposals Team at bid stage.
- Plan together with works preparation the buying for projects and confer with Project Manager & engineering to determine requirements for materials, parts and supplies.
- Represent and validate pro-actively supply chain elements/plans/quotations in project kick off meeting in highlighting what are the long lead time items (LLT) and which ones are critical for the project in the purchasing plan
- Negotiate price, delivery and terms and conditions for Purchase Requisitions at Project Phase.
- May travel to suppliers’ locations and fabrication shops to verify progress to ensure deliveries are occurring as required by the project.
- Attend Kick off Meetings with Suppliers as and when required.
- Participate in Internal Project Handover & further Review meetings to support & align with all Supply Chain activities & information in the achievement of N&H Systems deliverables.
- Proactively Drive Supply chain domain team to ensure supplier delivery and quality;
- Assist Purchasing in securing and validating the information that supports the timely processing of invoices for payment, especially partial and progress payments.
- Prepare or contribute to preparation of frequent reports detailing supplier's progress, problems encountered and solutions to maintain fabrication, testing, and delivery schedules. Provide pertinent information to the supplier evaluation program.

- Able to coordinate cross-site, multi-functional teams
**What you need**
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Ability to work within a globally dispersed and diverse team
