This new activity enables us to offer a comprehensive range of services, thus reenforcing our strategic position with our global customers.
Already equipped with a fleet of 6x long-haul aircraft (4x A330-200F and 2x B777F), CMA CGM AIR CARGO is on an ambitious mission to continue to grow its current fleet with the acquisition of new freighters.
CMA CGM AIR CARGO has already confirmed orders for 4x Airbus A350 freighters and will become the world’s first airline to launch and operate this state of the art cargo aircraft.
Within the CMA CGM AIR CARGO subsidiary, you will be responsible for the legal monitoring of the projects and activities of our airline, which is in charge of the air transport of goods for the CMA CGM Group, in France and internationally.
**RESPONSABILITIES**:
You will work closely with the CMA CGM Group's Legal Department (corporate, contracts, litigation, etc.):
You will assess the legal risks related to the air transport activity and participate in the structuring and development of CMA CGM Air Cargo;
**You manage the legal aspects of transactions**: drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal documentation including contracts with customers (charters, BSA, etc.), suppliers (operations and maintenance, handling, etc.) and partners;
You check the appropriate clauses of the contracts and commercial agreements and in particular the insurance aspects with the Group's Insurance Dept. You ensure the follow-up of the applicable regulations in the field of air transport (EASA, DGAC, FAA, traffic rights, etc.);
You select and supervise external advisors ;
You will ensure the follow-up of certain pre-litigation and commercial disputes, and you will make the operational staff aware of the legal risks.
**PROFILE**:
You have a Master 2 / BAC +5 in business law and/or aviation law obtained in France or abroad, you have between 5 and 10 years experience as a lawyer in the aviation or aeronautics sector.
You have a solid experience in aviation law, including common law, with experience in an airline or in a law firm specialising in air transport.
You will be responsive, rigorous and autonomous. You will be able to manage priorities, enjoy working in a team and be able to make proposals. You are able to analyse and summarise and have excellent interpersonal and writing skills.
You are fluent in English and French.
