You join the Thematic and Sector Research team of Natixis CIB (Corporate & Investment Banking) as a Bank Analyst, where you cover banks.

On a daily basis, your job is to:

- Perform financial analysis and monitor the news flow in the sector;
- Conduct regulatory research (mainly on Basel and EBA) and thematic, resulting in advice or marketing of products (structured or vanilla) for institutional clients;
- Participate in relative valuation work and generate trading ideas on senior and subordinated bank debt (AT1, Tier 2, SNP, Senior Preferred);
- Collaborate in cross-expertise work with other analysts of the team (Real Estate for example) and other members of the research department (macro, covered bonds, insurance, etc.) ;
- Prepare pitches to internal (DCM/ECM, coverage, trading room, structuring) and external clients (institutional investors, treasury and finance departments);
- Build and maintain databases (Excel, Bloomberg) and update the models; Promote your sector analysis to bond investors, sharing market information collected with DCM and coverage teams, as well as issuers (in case of requests by DCM).

**Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience**:

With a higher education, you have solid experience in a similar function in the banking sector. Finally, understanding the mechanisms of bond markets is an additional asset.

You are familiar with:

- Financial analysis and regulations related to the banking environment;
- The Office Pack and Bloomberg;
- VBA and ideally Python;
You have a great relationship, a very good listening skills, you are:

- With intellectual curiosity;
- Be thorough and have a good mind of synthesis;
- Recognized for your writing skills in French;
You master English with a C1 level.
