We are looking for a senior commercial business leader to join us as our Managing Director to strategically and operationally lead our French business.
This role requires in-person team work 2 to 3 days from the head office in central Paris.

Scope of the role
The Managing Director is a senior leadership position responsible for driving mid-term and long-term commercial growth, developing and executing sales and marketing strategies, and leading the cross functional team in a country to achieve our annual plan revenue and profitability targets. This role combines commercial accountability with cross functional leadership, people management and development responsibilities, whilst representing Capri Sun in the country in terms of Media and Associations.
Key commercial responsibilities
- Business Performance and Development:_
- Deliver the annual plan in terms of volume, revenue and profit
- Set, monitor, and review sales, financial as well as marketing KPIs
- Analyse sales data and prepare regular reports for monthly Exco reviews
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the country or region scope
- Marketing & Category Management:_
- Co-lead annual A&P investment plans, media planning and flawless execution of marketing strategies ie. Innovation launches as well as local activations
- Use Nielsen, Shopper and Retail data to set sales strategies and create category growth plans
- Key Account Management:_
- Build and maintain strong relationships with major retailers, distributors, and strategic partners
- Oversee the development and execution of account plans to maximize revenue and deepen customer relationships
- Budgeting and Forecasting:_
- Lead the country budgeting process across the functions
- Ensure forecast accuracy and stock planning to ensure targets are met and resources are allocated efficiently
Key people responsibilities
- Team Leadership:_
- Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing cross functional country team
- This includes recruitment, onboarding, ongoing professional development as well as succession planning
- Performance Management:_
- Set clear objectives and KPIs for individuals and the team
- Provide regular feedback, coaching, and support to drive high performance
- Collaboration and Engagement:_
- Foster a results-driven and positive team culture
- Implement incentive programs, recognize achievements, and maintain high levels of motivation, especially in the face of challenging targets or market conditions
- Work closely with central functions as well as the Executive Team to ensure cohesive execution of commercial strategies
Ideal profile
- Minimum 10 years experience in a brand-led FMCG (food and beverages) sales and marketing leadership, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding commercial as well as marketing targets in a competitive environment (required)
- Minimum 5 years experience in P&L management
- Experience in beverages is highly preferred
- Cross functional leadership skills, ideally in a former MD role
- Strong strategic thinking, excellence in executing country specific strategies.
- Significant sales negotiation skills and experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making abilities
