Within the Rolling Stock Product Line finance controlling team, we are looking for **a Finance Controller**. The position is based in Saint-Ouen (France).

**Key accountabilities**:

- **Function Cost Controlling**
- Functional Costs: Actual, Forecast, Budget (Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Quality)
- Reporting of Actuals, analysis of variation vs. Budget/Forecast to find areas of issues, risks, opportunities in Functional cost Target Achievement
- Cost in % of Sales: analysis of KPI evolution in workload perspective and to challenge cost structure
- Headcount Reporting per Site / Region and Best Cost Counties / High Cost Countries
- Budget and Forecast process and Function Challenge
- Monthly End Closure in strict collaboration with Headquarter Controlling staff
- **Business Partnership**
- Business Partnership with the Vice President Leader and his Organization (Regions Heads and HQ Staff)
- Interface with Controllers in Regions/Sites to identify specifics
- Headquarter Site Controlling
- Actual/Forecast/Budget management in partnership with Business (Actual monthly analysis, Quarterly Forecast, Yearly Budget, Strat Plan modelling)
- **Centres of Excellence controlling**
- Coordinate Finance Flows between Sites and HQ and Projects
- Manage Financial impacts in HQ (h.rate, recovery, Tax compliance, process design, cost structure challenge, month end closure)

**PROFILE**
- Finance/Business University Degree
- 5 years minimum finance experience including industrial/ engineering finance, commercial finance or other finance management roles
- Prior external or internal audit and / or costing manager experience is a plus
- Fluency in English is a must

**Competencies & Skills**
- Good general knowledge of IFRS and of the main basic accounting principle
- Sound analytical skills and the ability to consolidate conclusions and recommendations
- Modelling skills for business cases
- Excellent in Excel (outstanding is a plus)
- Cost-out oriented mindset, ideally grown during a previous industrial environment experience
- Business partnering behaviour towards Vice President, bringing both challenge & support to operational teams
- Good communicator with people from a variety of organizations, cultures and for whom English is not the first language
- Ability to manage communication by remote and multi time-zones interfacing
- Combination of Teamwork, Honesty, Integrity, Courage and Capability to influence decisions
- Change agent attitude, capitalizing on own experience to drive improvement.
