What You’ll Do At Elekta The Field Service Engineer is involved in on-site and remote installation and maintenance operations for equipment marketed by Elekta SAS (Radiotherapy, Brachytherapy, Neurosurgery, etc.)The Field Service Engineer carries out all interventions at the customer's premises during installation, planned maintenance, corrective maintenance and correction of original defects (FCO). The Field Service Engineer responsibilities include ( but not limited to): - In addition to the possibility of service intervention or installation outside France, this role includes participation in the smooth running of the remote support team (Intellimax) - Ultimately responsible for the customer satisfaction of the sites assigned to him/her or on which he/she intervenes - When receiving calls directly from customers in the sector, inform the central schedule for the part relating to activities and inform the Team Leader and/or the head office of the start and end of the intervention/s. - Order the parts necessary for interventions and ensures the return of unused or defective parts in accordance with the operating rules defined by the head office - Draw up intervention/installation reports and has them signed by a customer representative - Make sure that interventions are completed correctly - Asks for assistance when necessary, especially when not manage to satisfy the customer within the appropriate timeframe - Responsible for declaring the "Case" when notifying a risk of incident - Writing the elements of the "Case" in case of defects observed in the field - Responsible for the maintenance of all tools provided by Elekta SAS such as car, telephone, laptop, maintenance equipment, etc. - Report any significant information to technical or commercial correspondents, depending on the case - Carry out duties in compliance with the procedures and work instructions of the Elekta Quality System What You Bring To be able to be successful in the role as a Field Service Engineer here at Elekta we think that you: - Speak fluent French and English (read / written / spoken ) - Have minimum BTS or DUT in electronics / electrical engineering / physical measurements What You’ll Get In this role, you will work for a higher purpose; hope for everyone dealing with cancer, and for everyone regardless of where in the world, to have access to the best cancer care.
