What you’ll do at Elekta In the role as a Field Service Engineer, you will be involved in on-site and remote installation and maintenance operations for equipment that is marketed by Elekta SAS (Radiotherapy, Brachytherapy, Neurosurgery, etc) The right stuff - The Field Service Engineer carries out all interventions at the customer's premises during installation, planned maintenance, corrective maintenance, and correction of original defects (FCO) - In addition to the possibility of service intervention or installation outside France, he/she participates in the smooth running of the remote support team (IntelliMax) - He/she is ultimately responsible for the customer satisfaction of the sites assigned to him/her or on which he/she intervenes - When he/she receives calls directly from customers in his/her sector, he/she informs the central schedule for the part relating to his/her activities and informs the Team Leader and/or the head office of the start and end of his/her interventions - He/she orders the parts necessary for his/her interventions and ensures the return of unused or defective parts in accordance with the operating rules defined by the head office - He/she draws up intervention/installation reports and has them signed by a customer representative - He/she makes sure that his/her interventions are completed correctly - Asks for assistance, when necessary, especially when he/she does not manage to satisfy the customer within the appropriate timeframe - He/she is responsible for declaring the "Case" when he/she notices a risk of incident - He/she writes the elements of the "Case" in case of defects observed in the field - He/she is responsible for the maintenance of all tools provided by Elekta SAS such as car, telephone, laptop, maintenance equipment, etc. - He/she will report any significant information to his/her technical or commercial correspondents, depending on the case - More generally, he/she will carry out his/her duties in compliance with the procedures and work instructions of the Elekta Quality System What you bring - High attention to detail - High technical acumen - Able to communicate in English - Minimum BTS or DUT in electronics/electronical engineering What you’ll get In this role, you will work for a higher purpose; hope for everyone dealing with cancer, and for everyone regardless of where in the world, to have access to the best cancer care.
