**Carbon Maps is the first comprehensive climate management platform for the food industry.**
Our food system is a major contributing factor to global greenhouse gas emissions, deforestation and water consumption worldwide.
At Carbon Maps, we are on a mission to help the food industry reduce its environmental footprint, by **collecting and analyzing data across all stages of the food chain**, from farmers to consumers.
The Carbon Maps’ cloud platform enables **agri-food industry players** to:
- perform **rapid, high-precision assessments** of the environmental impact of their products, from raw materials to processing to distribution and agricultural raw materials;
- gain actionable insights and tools to help them execute and monitor their climate plans.
Carbon Maps relies on widely accepted **scientific models and environmental standards** (GHG Protocol, ISO 14040 & 14044, IPCC)
**MISSION HIGHLIGTHS**
We are currently building a Sales Team that will rapidly grow at Carbon Maps. This is the ideal time to join us and participate in our explosive growth, reporting to our COO.
The SDR comes into play at a key stage in our sales cycle and aims to generate and then qualify as many qualitative leads as possible, in our targeted industries.
**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Identify our prospects in collaboration with the Leadership and Brand Content teams, who will provide you with tailor-made content to discuss with them;
- Execute a specific targeting and contact strategy for key account prospects who require a more qualitative approach;
- Qualify leads during discovery interviews, to effectively identify their challenges, their needs, the main stakeholders within their structure, their buying cycle ;
- Throughout your conversations, detect customer pain points, understand their context and how we can help them. You will evangelize and showcase Carbon Maps' value proposition.
**YOUR 1ST 4-MONTHS OKR**
- Master the methodology for engaging with, and qualifying prospects.
- Start qualifying leads and booking your first opportunities.
- Fully master our tools and move on to the outbound call phase.
- Start targeting our target prospect lists.
**YOUR COMPETENCIES**
- One year minimum of experience in a SDR/BDR or sales role especially in a B2B SaaS start up / scale up (highly recommended)
- Knowledge in outbound marketing
- Great command of /experience with Hubspot & Linkedin Sales navigator is a plus
- Autonomous, resourceful and solution-oriented
- Engaged. You have lots of energy, are open to feedback and want to learn.
- Growth hacking mindset
- Excellent Communication skills: You have excellent oral skills and know how to craft messages for your target, based on their needs & preferences.
- Resilient: You will put some efforts to succeed and will embrace a culture of challenge.
- Humble, Team player
- Fluent English to help us conquer the European market
