Designer - General Installation / Piping (M/F)

**About You**:

- With a higher education of the IUT or BTS type, you have significant experience in the trade covering the design of the Installations, the design of the piping and cable routing as well as the design of their supports. Knowledge of engineering processes will be a plus.
- You have a strong taste for technology and you want to put your technical drawing skills to work for Projects oriented towards energy transition, decarbonization and the circular economy.
- You are dynamic and autonomous; you are curious and like to enrich yourself through exchange and teamwork.
- You enjoy working with innovative assisted design and virtual reality software. Knowledge of tools such as Microstation, Autocad, E3D, S3D or REVIT will be a plus.

You are mobile for short trips in France and abroad. Your English is operational.

**About the Job**:

- We are currently looking for a Confirmed General Installation and Piping Designer - (M/F) to join our team based in Lyon, France.
- Reporting to the Head of the General Installation Section, under the authority of an experienced Group Leader, you will manage the space in which you will conduct complete Installation studies.
As part of a project, you will be responsible for:

- Design and freeze the installation of equipment, freeze the paths of pipes and electricity cables and Instrumentation in accordance with the rules of implementation, installation and the standards of the contract;
- Carry out the studies with the 3D design tools selected for the project and extract the plans necessary for the construction;
- Coordinate your activity with the other designers and the other disciplines involved in the design and in particular comment on the documents under the responsibility of the other disciplines in order to have a good overall consistency of the studies;
- Demonstrate autonomy and organization to meet the communicated objectives and communicate their progress and/or difficulties to their Group Manager;
- Propose design improvements as well as method improvements.

- After a successful experience as a General Installation and Piping Designer, you will have the opportunity to progress to the position of Group Leader in charge of leading a small team of Designers.
- You will be required to work with our centers located abroad and will thus have the opportunity to hold a resident role within one of these centers involved in one of our projects.
- Finally, you will have the opportunity to go on site in France or abroad to assist our construction teams as a Field Engineer.
- In the longer term and according to your wishes, you can progress to a position of Installation Business Manager.
- The professions being diverse within Technip Energies, other possibilities for development are offered with the taking up of a position within other departments such as the Civil Engineering department, the HVAC department or the Construction department.
