Piping Group Leader

**About You**:
Higher education of the IUT or BTS type, you can justify a solid experience of the trade covering as well the design of the establishments, the design of the routings of pipes and routing of the cables as well as the design of their supports. You can justify to minimum of a first experience of successful technical supervision.Knowledge of engineering processes will be a plus.

You have a strong taste for technology and you want to put your technical drawing skills to work for Projects oriented towards energy transition, decarbonization and the circular economy.

You are dynamic and autonomous; you are curious and like to enrich yourself through exchange and teamwork. Your human qualities allow you to technically supervise a few designers placed under your authority.

You enjoy working with innovative assisted design and virtual reality software. Knowledge of tools such as Microstation, Autocad, E3D, S3D or REVIT will be a plus.

**About the Job**:
Reporting to the Head of the 3D General Installation Section, under the authority of a Business Manager, you will coordinate the design of equipment installations, piping and routing of Electricity/Instrumentation cables in the area for which you will be responsible.

As part of a project, you will be responsible for:
Coordinate the design of aerial installations in the area for which you are responsible;
Divide your area into study sub-areas and define, in consultation with your Business Line Manager, the human resources to be implemented to carry out the studies expected in the fixed schedule;
To supervise the designers mobilized in order to guarantee the quality of the studies as well as the respect of the schedule;
To help designers by preparing the most complex and critical studies and by training them, if necessary, in the installation rules applicable to the project;
Coordinate information for your area through interface meetings with other disciplines including the process and the project;
Plan design activities on a weekly basis and communicate your progress to your Business Manager;
Coordinate your team with the Flexibility Calculation leader and the support leader to ensure the production of design studies and isometrics;
To assist the business manager by delegation;
- To propose method improvements.

After a successful experience as a group leader and according to your wishes, you may be called upon to hold a resident role in one of the foreign centers of Technip Energies involved in one of our projects, go on site in France or abroad to assist our construction teams as Field Engineers or to evolve into Business Manager functions.

In the longer term and according to your wishes, you will be able to progress to a Senior Implanter position.
- Since the professions are diverse within Technip Energies, other possibilities for development are offered with taking up a position within other departments such as the Construction department or project coordination.
