**YOUR CONTEXT**

As a member of the DFS Europe Finance Department, you work in a multicultural environment in close contact with the operational teams and the head office in Hong-Kong. You have a comprehensive overview of Internal Control challenges and contribute to the development of two emblematic stores : Le Grand Magasin de La Samaritaine in Paris, which has reopened after 15 years of closure, and Fondaco Dei Tedeschi by DFS in Venice, open since 2016..

This internship, located in the heart of Paris, will start on **January 2025 for a period of 6 months**.

**YOUR JOB**

You will:

- contribute to the daily follow-up of the compliance of store operations (using our databases in PowerBI and Excel and in close collaboration with the sales teams) and to the presentation of the monthly reporting to the Finance Department and Store Management of La Samaritaine,
- discover the LVMH internal control standards, the organization of the annual campaign of internal control and its tools,
- consolidate the Internal Control KPIs of France and Italy and participate to the Risk Committee Europe which takes place twice a year,
- take part in cross-functional audits of back office processes: interviews, testing, feedback to top management,
- take part in updating and harmonizing store operating procedures in close collaboration with the operational staff responsible for the various processes concerned, in both stores (sales, collection, customer service, operations, stock & logistics, security).

In a complex and changing environment, you can come up with new ideas, innovate and be a force for bringing forward proposals within the Internal Control Department.

**This internship will give you a comprehensive insight into the way a Finance department in a store works.**

**YOUR PROFILE**

You are:

- a student of higher education (BAC +4/5 specialized in Finance/ Audit) ideally with a first experience,
- organized et rigourous and you like team work,
- curious and you look forward discovering retail in the luxury sector in a multicultural environment. Your English is fluent.
- used to work with Office 365 and ideally PowerBI.
