Troubleshooting test automatization for SLB electrical monitoring system
**Location**:
Clamart, France
**Scope of the internship**:
Our electrical monitoring system is installed permanently in the well and it’s of high importance for us to have an efficient troubleshooting strategy in case of failures.
The actual troubleshooting method is based on the basic diagnostic data from every single product. A more advanced strategy is needed to gather more useful information, to compare different measurements from different parts for a cross analysis, to automatize the manual steps, and to generate an analysis report.
With the help of the supervisor, the intern will focus on analyze the failure mode for electrical monitoring system, simulate failure modes in the lab, and propose troubleshooting strategies to be integrated in commercialized software for all the product families (including surface acquisition systems and different production permanent gauge systems). The intern will have the opportunities to understand the completion monitoring system (software, surface acquisition system, the monitoring tool) and our technologies, to gain experiences in our workshop, and to understand our workflow.
**Responsibilities**:
- Failure mode and effect analysis for electrical monitoring system,
- Failure mode simulation in the lab,
- Troubleshooting strategies for electrical system,
**Skills required**:
- digital and analog electronics, electrical engineering
- basic software programming knowledges
- able to provide creative and innovative solutions
- lab experiences/failure debugging is a plus
