Captain - 28 Motor Yacht

**The Opportunity**
On behalf of a client, we are seeking an experienced and qualified Captain for a beautiful 28 meter motor yacht based in the South of France. This is a rare opportunity for a professional who values discretion, high standards, and flexibility.

The yacht is used for private purposes only, and the family is looking for someone with a positive attitude who is also willing to help with occasional tasks with the family as needed.

Important: The Captain must live near Nice and have their own local accommodation.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure the welcoming, safety, and comfort of guests at all times
- Navigate and maintain all onboard equipment
- Handle all docking, fender, mooring, and anchoring operations
- Monitor and manage fuel supply
- Operate and maintain onboard technology and navigation systems
- Oversee maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems

**Requirements**:

- Must live locally near Nice — with suitable accommodation ashore
- Valid Captain 200 certification
- CFBS (Certificate of Training in Basic Safety) up to date
- Medical 2 certificate up to date
- BNSSA (National Certificate of Swimming and Lifesaving) preferred
- Fluent in English (additional languages an advantage)
- Independent, organised, and professional
- Flexible and ready to help with family needs when required
- Proven experience as Captain on a similar-sized motor yacht

Pay: 4,000.00€ - 5,000.00€ per month
