**About the Role**:
The Bid Manager will play a critical role in driving Harmattan AI’s success in securing contracts within the global defense market. This position, based in Paris, is responsible for managing the entire bid process, from opportunity identification to proposal submission, ensuring compelling, compliant, and competitive proposals that meet client requirements.

The Bid Manager will work closely with sales, engineering, and product teams to position Harmattan AI as the preferred partner for government agencies and defense contractors.

**Responsibilities**:

- Bid Management: Lead the end-to-end bid process, including tender evaluation, proposal development, and submission in accordance with client requirements and deadlines.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams (sales, product, R&D, legal) to gather information, align strategies, and ensure proposals meet technical and commercial expectations.
- Proposal Writing: Draft and edit high-quality, persuasive proposals tailored to the needs of defense agencies, government bodies, and key clients.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure all bids comply with relevant regulations, client specifications, and industry standards, including export controls.
- Process Optimization: Develop and maintain templates, tools, and workflows to streamline the bid process and improve efficiency.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor the success rate of submitted bids, identify improvement areas, and implement lessons learned.
- Client Engagement: Act as a point of contact for clients during the bidding process, addressing queries and ensuring effective communication.

**Requirements**:

- At least 3 years of experience in bid management, proposal writing, or a similar role, preferably in the defense, aerospace, or high-tech industries.
- Proven track record of managing and winning multi-million bids in government or defense sectors.
- Hands-on experience in R&D within a highly technical environment is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with a strong ability to evaluate technical and commercial requirements.
