As a **Head of Data**, you will lead the company’s data strategy, oversee the entire data function, and drive the development of data-driven solutions that align with business objectives. You will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing data team while ensuring the efficient execution of data projects across the organization.

We are looking for a person for a **short-term contract** (**from January to end of June 2025**) to replace a temporary leave of absence.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Develop a clear vision for data utilization that aligns with the business goals and create a roadmap for implementing data initiatives across the organization.
- Lead, and mentor a diverse team of 20 data analysts. Ensure continuous development and career growth within the team.
- Coordinate the planning, execution, and delivery of data projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Implement and maintain data governance policies, focusing on data quality, security, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, industry standards).
- Partner with key business functions (e.g., Marketing, Finance, Product, Operations) to identify data needs and deliver actionable insights that enhance decision-making.
- Oversee the architecture of data platforms (data warehouses, data lakes, ETL processes), ensure system reliability, and recommend upgrades or new technologies as needed.
- Lead the creation of dashboards and reports to provide stakeholders with clear, actionable insights, and facilitate data-driven strategies.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of data initiatives, assess their impact on the business, and refine the data strategy accordingly.

**Your profile**:

- At least 6 years of experience in data management roles, with proven expertise in team leadership.
- Strong proficiency in data analytics tools (Python, SQL), cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), and BigQuery.
- Demonstrated capability to lead and inspire a team, with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent ability to communicate complex concepts in a simplified manner and influence executive decision-making.
- You speak English fluently and French as a second language is a big plus.
