**Automotive Cells Company (ACC) is one of Europe’s newest and most exciting high-tech companies. Backed by Saft-Total, Stellantis-Opel and Mercedes-Benz,** ACC is set to **power the future of the automotive industry** by innovating in battery technology.

We aim to produce sustainable, affordable, high-capacity, longer-life batteries as a** cleaner alternative to current energy sources**. We create an R&D center and new state-of-the art facility in France (New Aquitaine), with gigafactories to be built in Hauts de France and Germany.

**Job description**:
As the Engineering referent for the international codes:

- Realize a constant codes monitoring, together with other ACC departments involved,
- Realize codes analysis and translation of the codes requirements into technical requirements applicable on ACC systems, in collaboration with the system Engineers,
- Bring support to the Engineering members to guaranty codes compliance while designing ACC products.

Your main missions:

- Be the referent for automotive batteries norms and standards applicable to ACC products
- Organize allocation of embedded requirements to each technical departments/components related
- Support development team in understanding requirements applicability to their parts in responsibility
- Ensure robustness of design versus regulations
- Establish and maintain a close partnership with partners to be up to date regarding applicable norms
- Develop and maintain internal database of all requirements to design/manufacture
- Assist technical teams to identify conformity gaps/risks
- Help legal teams to understand incoming norms and standards new requirements/scopes
- Work with operations team to build regulation declarative necessary projects deliverables
- Attend regulations shows and follow trade literature to follow latest requirements

**Profile**:
**Knowledge / Know how**

Knowledge in System Engineering and requirement management (V-cycle).

Knowledge and understanding of normalization and homologation in the car industry.

Ability to lead concurrent technical tasks.

**Experience**

**Qualifications**

Technician or Engineering master degree in Quality or Mechanics.

Fluent in technical written and spoken English.
