**Job description**:
The Thermal Modeling Team Manager will model thermal behaviour of cells and modules using Computer Aided Engineering tools, like Star CCM+, or Comsol. He/she will oversee the management of the thermal simulation team (coordination of the internal activities of the group), and external exchange with other ACC dpt. As a manager, he will be responsible of carrier path management (training, promotion etc ) of his team members, and also to recruit to maintain competences of the thermal team.
He/she will support thermal design teams for cells and module design. He/she will have cross activities with cell modeling engineers and abuse modeling engineers to optimize and manage all battery thermal aspects. He/she will also liaise with testing and V&V teams to support test and model correlation. He/she will have to present results of his studies internally and to customers. He/she will manage his simulation environment and manage the digital continuity.
**_ As a Thermal Modeling Team Manager you should be familiar with the following tasks:_**
- Correlate models vs reality to improve company experience
- Manage internal and external projects, contracts, while collaborating with internal teams (R&D, Industrialization, Projects, Simulation,)
- Manage collaborations with suppliers, customers and strategic partners
- Contribution in the company roadmap
- Be up to date to the state of the art on its topic of expertise
- Support Intellectual Property monitoring and propose innovative patentable concepts
**Profile**:
**_ Know How_**
- Team set-up and management
- Thermal/CFD/ Simulation mastering
- Fluid mechanics good mastering
- Heat transfer mastering
- Knowledge of battery manufacturing processes
- Knowledge on various analytical methods commonly used in simulation
- Problem solving methods
**_ Experience_**
Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar job
**_Qualification_**
- MSc with 3 years of experience or PhD with thesis
- Fluent in English
