Job profile.

The Business Coordination Manager will be responsible taking direct contact with the retail brokers established access all Euronext locations and to put in place jointly with them educational campaign on derivatives. This is a strategic position within the Financial Derivatives team aiming to expand the number of individual investors on both options and futures contracts. All educational efforts will need to be coordinated across Europe. The objective is to increase local investors knowledge and proximity with retail brokers, including by raising the visibility of the contracts in the local retail medias.

In the context of the integration of post-trade, within Euronext Clearing, Euronext has strong ambitions towards the expansion of its derivatives franchise in particular with the launch of fixed income derivatives, and more precisely the range of mini futures on government bonds. Retail investors will be to initiate liquidity. Creating strong educational partnerships with local communities will be the at the core of the new joiner’s responsibilities.

The Business Coordination Manager will also contribute to the derivatives product development process, and make the link with the Marketing team to coordinate the franchise communication efforts. He/she will also take responsibility for gathering information and completing all the necessary documents giving updates on the franchise performance to the Managing Board and Executive Committee.

Key acountabilities

The Retail Business Development manager will have the following accountabilities:

- Coordinate educational campaigns throughout Euronext’s key locations in partnership with the retail brokers, using webinars or other marketing tools to promote to use derivatives contracts for individual investors.
- Lead all educational initiatives with the retail press across Europe with the main medias to give visibility to derivatives investing.
- Maintain educational materials and develop new ones to develop a complete set of tools to deploy in the educational campaigns. Explore new means of communication or actions to reach to retail investors.
- Contribute to the expansion of the derivatives distribution within other retail brokers not yet active in derivatives.
- Create partnerships with market makers to contribute to the retail campaigns so as to create a community from buy side to sell side. Promote the retail strategy of Euronext derivatives as a differentiating factor towards the trading community.
- Work closely with the marketing teams to promote the effective communication to the educational initiatives and events, ensuring wide distribution to target audiences.
- Monitor the impacts and progress of the retail engagement with the brokers.
- Contribute to build the Retail Advisory Committees and actively participate to shed light derivatives participation and educational campaigns.
- Participate to the new derivatives contract creation process liaising with the different teams involved.
- Take responsibility to complete the documents dedicated to the derivatives franchise reporting to the managing board and executive committee. Gather all the necessary information and centralise all the performance reporting.

Business development with buy and sell side clients, focusing on new product opportunities.
