**Key r**esponsibilities**:
- Solicit events and banquets business to drive event bookings in order to achieve annual event revenue targets.
- Develop the group & events sales strategy through creative promotions and activities whilst keeping with The Peninsula Standards and Principles.
- Increase group & events revenue through effective upselling techniques.
- Create and maintain relationships with MICE, DMCs and Event Partners.
**General requirements**:
- Previous experience in sales, banquet, events, conference services and marketing experience (ideally within the luxury hotel segment).
- Is a natural organiser, highly detailed and able to engage with guests and clients.
- Fluent both in French and English - third language appreciated
- Self-starter, creative, and financial acumen (budgeting)
