Role Summary
The Events Manager Paris is responsible for assisting in Euronext’s events (conferences, IPOs ceremonies etc ) in Paris and for the Group CEO, and supporting some others (specific business initiatives, internal events, business dinners and lunches for example) He/She organizes events whilst managing costs and continual improvement through evaluations of the events held.
She/he will join the Events Team led by the Group Head of Events within the Communication and IR team of Euronext, reporting to the Head of Events Corporate and France. The job is based in Paris, with potential travels in Europe.
Key accountabilities
Help to deliver all virtual, hybrid and physical events and conferences for Euronext in Paris and for Group CEO; either bell ceremonies, workshops or large scale events to support business and group objectives in close co-ordination with the businesses and clients,
Co-ordinate all event logistics (invitations, guest lists, catering, presentation materials, audiovisual supports, media, webcasting, photography, security procedures, billboards / signs, ancillary services, gifts, etc.).
Support with the organization of photoshoots/special projects with internal colleagues or external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance of Euronext branding, marketing and event materials with the support of the Group graphic agency and the brand and content team
Update on a regular basis the website connected to Events activities and manage registration and communication through our CRM tool
Ensure regular reporting in Communications reporting tool for plan events in the frame of the Global Communication Calendar.
Support with legal and compliance activities connected to event management (liaising with Legal Team for contracts, onboarding of new suppliers, raising POs)
Work on international project when appropriate, to support other international team members.
Work closely with teams in the Communications and Investor Relations department such as the Press, Social Media, Brand & Content teams as well as with other departments such as the Marketing and Facilities and Catering teams. Be the key contact point for Business owners willing to organize event in the defined scope.
Brief external agencies and suppliers when necessary, and managing them to deliver the best possible service
Ensure ESG compliancy of events and goodies, and propose new ideas to improve carbon footprint of the team.
**Profile**:
- Previous experience in an Events role, exposure to international environment is a plus.
- Ability to work with top management and have high standards in the design and execution of events
- Customer-focused and keen to understand the customer’s requirements.
- Strong sense of detail, strong organizational and time management skills.
- Multi-tasker, able to juggle and prioritize a number of diverse projects, under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Excellent command of spoken and written French and English (other European languages a plus).
