**The Work You’ll Do**:
The Director, European Partner Alliances will be responsible for the management Channel Sales staff in Sovos Europe. The role will be focused on the recruitment of new partners and the management of existing partners.
The partners will be a mixture of accounting firms, software vendors and system integrators with operations in Europe.
Models will include OEM (embedded), re-sale and referral of Sovos’ software and services offerings.
Targets will include channel expansion along with bookings growth.
**What are my responsibilities going to be, more specifically?**
- Develop a plan to recruit new partners on collaboration with other stakeholders in line with Sovos GVAT Strategy
- Deliver new business bookings growth and meet agreed sales quotas by selling with and through partner channels in collaboration with Sovos Direct Sales
- Actively engage with existing and new partners to build awareness about Sovos’ global compliance and business-to-government reporting solutions in order to grow and manage a balanced partner pipeline
- Conduct quarterly reviews with strategic partners to drive consistent productivity against agreed KPIs
- Educate and mobilise internal business partners to support key Alliances objectives
- Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behaviour in all matters with all stakeholders
- Demonstrate initiative, drive and determination to achieve results, success and growth.
- Maintain a high level of energy, enthusiasm, engagement and commitment to action
- Develop trust and model open, candid, respectful communication and collaborative teamwork
**What We Need From You**:
- Solid experience in channel sales including extensive experience in recruiting new partners
- Demonstrated success in SaaS channel sales preferred
- Demonstrated success building and leading a diverse software and services channel ecosystem to significant revenue growth
- Experience with enterprise ERP and/or tax technology ecosystems or complex business process outsourcing delivered through technology preferred
- Self-motivated, team player who has a strong drive to exceed goals
- Willingness to travel for partner meetings, trade shows and special projects, and special projects travel required both domestic and international to Sovos locations and events
