**ABOUT YOUR ROLE**

Descartes Underwriting is seeking a **Marketing and Communication projects assistant** to join our _Marketing _Team. You will report to the Marketing & Communication Project Manager, and you will be a key contributor to the deployment of Marketing projects.

The applicant will be in close and effective cooperation with all business units and
play a vital role in the following activities:
**Creative and design production**
- Iconography research, creation of business cards, roll-up banners, leaflets and brochures creation for events
- Infographics design, short videos editing, liaise with printers for marketing materials, assistance for audiovisual productions and photo shootings

**Editorial communication and press relations**
- Creation of corporate formats and official presentations, corporate contents writing, awards dossier
- Briefs definition for design content creation, press reviews coverage, media and journalists lists monitoring, global reporting

**Marketing activities global support**
- Punctual help with communication plans, tracking activities monitoring and cross-functional projects with other Marketing members (CRM and leads, social media, events etc.)

**EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Final year student of master’s degree from a Business, Engineering school or with specialized cursus in Marketing & Digital Communications;
- One or more previous experiences (internship and/or apprenticeship) in Sales or Marketing is a plus.

**SKILLS**
- Proficiency in Pack Office and an appetite for digital tools and platforms;
- Strong notions in graphic design and knowledge of Adobe suite;
- Rigor, analytical skills and good writing skills;
- Excellent communication (written and verbal);
- Professional or bilingual English is required;
- French is a plus.
