Retrocession Operations Senior Analyst

In charge of a portfolio of contracts, you will manage the full scope including quarterly closing productions and analysis on these contracts, prepare quarterly accounts and reporting for SCOR P&C’s Proportional retrocession contracts and perform first-level analysis on these elements to ensure consistency and quality. **Key duties and responsibilities** The less we identify a person in our job advertisements, the wider & inclusive our reach; Use “You” to start your sentences as "You" replaces: “he/she” “his/her” “il/elle” F/H, M/F... - Prepare quarterly technical accounts (premiums, losses, expenses) for SCOR P&C’s retrocession contracts - Prepare quarterly reporting for the above retrocession contracts - Perform first-level analysis of the accounts and reporting in order to ensure control and quality of the elements provided - Ensure all accounts and reporting are delivered on time - Ensure preparation and follow up of financial situations with brokers, retrocessionnaires, SCOR entities. - Managing relations with external retrocession brokers for sending the above documents, and make sure that they are delivered to retrocession counterparties in a timely manner - as the entry point of 3nd Party contracts retrocession underwriters, Answer questions from retrocession counterparties about quarterly accounts and reporting, or any requests of retrocessionnaires (eg auditorsof investors - Check appropriate cession of inward reinsurance treaties to relevant Retrocession contracts - During the quarterly closing, check appropriate cession of inward reinsurance treaties to relevant Retrocession contracts, ensure the landing of the figures, liaise with internal SCOR entities for their local cessions and with Finance Closing Teams, analyse and reconcile the figures Update the existing procedures and memos, and create the docuimentations for the new contracts, in order to share information with the entities **Required experience & competencies** - 5 years’ experience working in (Re)-Insurance or broking company - Nice to have : experience and exposure to ILS vehicles (sidecars, collateralized quota-shares) accounting and administration. - Good understanding of collateralized reinsurance mechanisms - Professional Excel skillset - Ability to use different accounting tools and data request systems (eg.
