**SUMMARY**:
The Design Engineer will be responsible for utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to conceptualize, design, and develop laboratory instruments and components. The individual will work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that align with customer requirements. The role will involve working on projects of increasing complexity, requiring a solid understanding of engineering principles, design methods, and manufacturing processes. A strong commitment to integrity and safety is essential, along with a willingness to continuously develop new skills in product design and engineering.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**include the following. Other duties may be assigned.**:

- Develop detailed CAD designs for laboratory instruments and components.
- Prepare testing procedures and reports, which may include hands-on involvement in testing programs.
- Provide technical support to various departments, including manufacturing, quality, and safety, to resolve design-related challenges.
- Investigate product non-conformances and engineering change requests, implementing modifications as needed.
- Gain knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and product functionalities to support technical decision-making.
- Participate in the development and improvement of product lines with guidance and supervision.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in all design work.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills within the field.
- To always respect and protect company and client confidentiality.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to operational excellence.

**QUALIFICATION**:

- ** Technical degree or diploma in Design/Drafting (BTS, DUT, or equivalent)**:

- ** Experience with material calculations**:

- ** 3-5 years of experience in CAD design, preferably in laboratory instruments or related fields**:

- ** Proficiency in SolidWorks (minimum 2 years of experience preferred).**:

- ** Experience with AutoCAD and Inventor is a plus.**:

- ** Knowledge of hydraulics, pressure vessels, and automated control systems is desired.**:
