The Design Engineer will be responsible for utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to conceptualize, design, and develop laboratory instruments and components. The individual will work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that align with customer requirements. The role will involve working on projects of increasing complexity, requiring a solid understanding of engineering principles, design methods, and manufacturing processes. A strong commitment to integrity and safety is essential, along with a willingness to continuously develop new skills in product design and engineering.

• Develop detailed CAD designs for laboratory instruments and components.
• Prepare testing procedures and reports, which may include hands-on involvement in testing programs.
• Provide technical support to various departments, including manufacturing, quality, and safety, to resolve design-related challenges.
• Investigate product non-conformances and engineering change requests, implementing modifications as needed.
• Assist the Presales and After-Sales teams with technical expertise throughout product development, production, and customer-specific applications.
• Gain knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and product functionalities to support technical decision-making.
• Participate in the development and improvement of product lines with guidance and supervision.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in all design work.
• Continuously update knowledge and skills within the field.

• Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to operational excellence.

• Technical degree or diploma in Design/Drafting (BTS, DUT, or equivalent)
• Experience with material calculations
• 3-5 years of experience in CAD design, preferably in laboratory instruments or related fields
• Proficiency in SolidWorks (minimum 2 years of experience preferred).
• Experience with AutoCAD and Inventor is a plus.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pressure vessels, and automated control systems is desired.

• Strong proficiency in CAD software for 2D and 3D modeling.

RÉSUMÉ

Le concepteur sera responsable de l'utilisation d'outils de Conception Assistée par Ordinateur (CAO) pour conceptualiser, concevoir et développer des instruments et composants de laboratoire. RESPONSABILITÉS

Les responsabilités incluent, sans s'y limiter :

• Développer des conceptions CAO détaillées pour les instruments et composants de laboratoire.
• Préparer des procédures et rapports de test, incluant une participation active aux programmes de test.
• Fournir un soutien technique aux différents départements (production, qualité, sécurité) pour résoudre les défis liés à la conception.
• Analyser les non-conformités des produits et les demandes de modification technique, et mettre en œuvre les ajustements nécessaires.
• Assister les équipes avant-vente et après-vente grâce à une expertise technique tout au long du développement des produits, de la production et des applications spécifiques aux clients.
• Acquérir des connaissances sur les matériaux, les procédés de fabrication et les fonctionnalités des produits pour soutenir la prise de décisions techniques.
• Participer au développement et à l'amélioration des gammes de produits sous supervision et encadrement.
• Assurer la conformité de toutes les conceptions aux normes industrielles et réglementations de sécurité.
• Mettre régulièrement à jour ses connaissances et compétences dans le domaine.
• Respecter et protéger en permanence la confidentialité de l'entreprise et des clients.
• Accomplir toute autre tâche assignée, en faisant preuve d'adaptabilité et d'engagement envers l'excellence opérationnelle.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diplôme technique en conception/dessin industriel (BTS, DUT ou équivalent).
• 3 à 5 ans d'expérience en conception CAO, de préférence dans les instruments de laboratoire ou un domaine similaire.
• Maîtrise de SolidWorks (expérience de 2 ans minimum souhaitée).
• Expérience avec AutoCAD et Inventor est un plus.
• Connaissance en hydraulique, réservoirs sous pression et systèmes de contrôle automatisés appréciée.
• Expérience en calcul des matériaux est un atout.
