- Reporting to the EMEAI Sales VP of the Data Capture division, the Datalogic France Data Capture Sales Director is responsible for growing revenue and profitability in France, managing the local Branch based in Villebon sur Yvette, Ile de France.**Role Mission**:
- You will develop the team as we strengthen our presence and drive fast growth of our Data Capture business in this region. As the Sales Director, you will be tasked with developing and executing the regional sales strategy, as well as a wide range of general management responsibilities.**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manages territory to meet annual sales targets allocated to the country;
- Interacts with end users, systems integrators, distributors and OEM accounts to penetrate target accounts, build customer relationships, understands customer needs and effectively positioning Datalogic entire product portfolio, with a specific focus on retail customers;
- Develops and supports a partner network to increase sales throughout the country;
- Owns the account strategy within the assigned country and communicates to the Business Units on an account-by-account basis when appropriate;
- Establishes executive level relationships with top customers and understands their main processes and business model;
- Supports the salesforce development, manages the talent pipeline and succession planning of the team, develops and monitors the engagement of the team.
**Requirements**:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferably in a technical discipline (i.e. Electrical Engineering/Industrial Engineering) or Business/Marketing.
- Languages: French native and fluent English
- Minimum 10 years sales experience (preferably in Auto ID for the retail industry) of end users and through channel partners. With at least 5 years of experience in a Management/Country Leader position;
- Knowledge in the Industrial Control, Mobile Computing market, Scanning or similar technology.
- Proven track record on turnaround management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels, including people-management, leadership, and customer management at a C-level;
- Strong influencing skills that inspire, drive and challenge sales teams towards transformational thinking to advance team performance, health, and an inclusive culture, focusing on Business achievements.
- Previous experience in managing complex sales with top accounts and/or big deals within the IT Market.
