**Scope and Mission**
- Within the Research and Development department you will support the regulator development team for the mechanical design of a new innovative dive regulator. You will contribute to the mechanical design, prototyping and testing of new innovative features._
- **Start date**: ASAP
- **Duration target**: 6 months
- **Location**:Sophia Antipolis
**Key duties and responsibilities**
- Identify all the technical solutions to answer a given specification.
- Analyze and compare the solutions and select the best one.
- CAD design of the solution with SolidWorks.
- Creation of the technical documentation of the solution (inc all drawings and specifications for prototyping).
- Oversee the prototyping and assembly of the solution with our partners.
- Define the test plan, oversee the testing for verification of the solution.
**Your qualifications**
- **Level of studies**: BAC + 4/5 minimum / master’s degree in Engineering
- **Level of experience**: A first experience (school project or internship) with CAD tools such as SolidWorks is required
**Skills**
- Good at solving mechanical design problematics (looking for the best technical solution to answer a specification)
- First experience of Solidworks (in a previous internship or school project)
- Good knowledge of mechanical design rules
- Good knowledge of functional dimensioning
- Good knowledge of prototyping processes
- Knowledge of dive gears (first dive experience or dive certification) is an asset
- Capacity to synthesize and share progress with the team
- Good knowledge of Excel Word and PowerPoint
- Fluent English
- You are curious, dynamic, passionate about innovation
- Excellent communication skills
- Working effectively in a Team
- Good organizational skills, sense of prioritization
