As part of Global Markets and Technologies (GM&T), the Maritime activity connects a wide range of global markets to essential molecules across borders and oceans. Air Liquide Maritime is organized along four business units, namely Offshore Energies, Cryogenic Supply, Global Rare Gases and Global Helium, and is also supporting OCEOS, a joint Venture to offer CO2 shipping and barging services for CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage) projects across Europe.

**How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?**

The Tax Manager reports to AL Maritime CFO and functionally to the Group Tax department. His/her primary role is to manage the tax affairs of the Maritime perimeter (France, Germany, UK, Norway, Malta, Dubai, China, Malaysia, South Korea, US). He or she will also be responsible for overall monitoring of tax related topics such as internal transfer price policy, tax compliance of legal entities inside the perimeter, provide tax advisory to business, in conjunction with and with the support of AL’s Group tax department, external consultants, and internal cross-functional colleagues as well as the shared service centers.
He/she enjoys working closely and proactively with a wide range of interlocutors across our dynamic, international organization, in a fast-paced complex business environment.

As part of Air Liquide's head office, you will work with several companies in the Air Liquide Maritime entity, organized in numerous countries around the world.

Reporting to the CFO, you will be in charge of all tax issues for the scope, and in particular of supporting and raising the awareness of operational and project teams.

You'll especially be working on the following topics:

- International tax and Transfer Price policy:

- With the support of the Group tax department and external consultants when needed, define, implement, and maintain the transfer price policy and documentation
- Performs the tax analysis of cross-border situations (withholding taxes, P.E )
- VAT and customs:

- Provides advisory and support to the operations on VAT and customs obligations
- Updates the “Piste d'Audit Fiable” for the French affiliate
- Tax compliance: monitor direct and indirect tax compliance in conjunction with local consultants and accounting teams in France and all the countries where the business is operating
- Advise, assist and challenge the different Business Units on tax matters
- Manage tax audits of the affiliates and the relationship with tax authorities

**Are you a MATCH?**

You to have a proven ability and a good understanding of the tax aspects of operational cross border flows, ideally in a multinational company, and demonstrate part of the following skills:

- Good knowledge of VAT/Customs matters
- Experience in tax accounting, tax risk management and transfer pricing
- Strong relationship building and project management skills
- Positive mindset focused on finding solutions and eager to learn new tax matters
- Fast learner, highly flexible and at ease with a fast-paced and complex environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Focus on deliverables and assertive ability
- Fluent writing and speaking in French and in English
