Senior Project Manager

We are looking for passionate **Senior Project Manager** to join our team and work for various large-scale IT systems for a European Commission project.

A Day in the Life of a Senior Project Manager will include:

- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders;
- Initiate and oversee the project change management process;
- Oversee the implementation and transition to operations of new systems, upgrades, or evolutions, ensuring alignment with project requirements and ITIL best practices;
- Manage project documentation, including project charters, status reports, and meeting minutes;
- Leverage technical expertise to guide project teams and make informed decisions on technical matters;
- Collaborate closely with architecture and development teams to ensure technical feasibility and optimal implementation of project requirements;
- Develop release plans and schedules, coordinating release activities with stakeholders and IT teams;
- Collaborate with internal and external IT teams to achieve project objectives;
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to support ongoing maintenance and support;
- Maintain overall responsibility for the execution of the contracts;
- Manage the design, development and implementation of software systems, including interoperability components, as per user-defined requirements;
- Ensure that the security policies, ITSM processes, and ITIL practices are aligned with client processes and followed by the project team, and;
- Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

**Requirements**:

- University degree in a related field;
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in IT projects;
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in Project Management of complex technical projects, including software construction and system integration;
- Proficiency in technical project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or DevSecOps;
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development, system architecture, or related technical fields;
- Relevant certifications in internationally recognized project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PM2, PRINCE2);
- Experience in working with Jira and Confluence;
- Knowledge of web technologies and standards (e.g. HTML/CSS, JSON, XML);
- Strong technical skills and thorough understanding of software development processes and technologies;
- ITIL v3 or V4 certification is a plus;
- Cloud system knowledge (AWS, Azure) is a plus;
- Experience in managing transition to operations for large-scale IT systems is a plus;
- Experience with Datawarehouse and AI and data analytics project implementation is a plus, and;
- Fluency in English, French language knowledge is an advantage.
