Our client is a global brokerage whose European headquarters is based in Paris. Following recent growth, the company is seeking to hire a new MLRO in Paris to join their wider European Compliance function.

**Responsibilities**:

- Take ownership of SAR investigation, reporting and regulatory disclosures
- Act as the point of contact for external authorities relating to Financial Crime Compliance and respond to request for information or disclosure
- Maintain, develop and implement the Financial Crime Compliance framework including companywide policies and procedures including AML and Sanctions
- Lead the company’s response to changing sanctions requirements
- Provide a risk based assessment of the firms Anti Financial Crime policies and response, addressing improvements and remedial actions where needed
- Work with the Group Financial Crime Compliance team to ensure best practice across the group

**Experience Required**:

- Extensive experience of managing Financial Crime Compliance within the French and ideally wider EU regulated environment
- Experience within sell-side financial services organisation is required
- Fluent French and English language skills are essential
- Previous regulatory approval/registration is preferred
