Tereos Commodities is the sugar and ethanol trading entity of the Tereos Group. We have speculative exposures on both derivatives and physical markets and advise the producing entities of the group in Europe and in Brazil on their hedging decisions.

We are looking for a junior trader to manage the various exposures of the group on the sugar derivatives markets.

In the sugar derivatives trading desk the trader will develop an understanding of the key drivers of a commodity market in a demanding & international team of experienced individuals.

**Vos activités au quotidien...**:
a. Execution and admin of the futures and options transactions
- Execution of futures and options transactions linked to the proprietary and client hedging books (5% of the workload)
- Reporting of the transactions and improvements on the reporting (5% of the workload)

b. Understanding of the main drivers of commodity markets
- Learn about commodity markets and specifically to the agricultural world, understand and participate in the discussions that lead to our proprietary and physical speculative exposures (25% of the workload)
- Contribute on the team understanding of the macro & financial market environment and how it impacts sugar markets (10% of the workload)

c. Development of data analysis, risk, and market modelling
- Help to structure market data extraction and analysis (25% of the workload)
- Find, read papers, and implement analysis that will contribute to how we understand the markets and its risks, and that could lead to suggesting systematic trading strategies (20%)

d. Defend a market reasoning and translate it in a hedging or speculative position (10%)

**Aujourd'hui, c'est vous...**:

- Master Degree with strong analytical content
- Fluency in English is a must, other languages (a plus)
- Proven track record on coding capabilities on Python
- Values in line with the ones of Tereos Group.
- Appetite to face the volatility inherent of financial markets (earlier experience is a plus)
- Interest in commodities (earlier experience is a plus) and strong will to quickly learn from a team of high level specialists of these markets.
- High level analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good initiative, highly motivated and willing to challenge the views of others and argument and confront opinions
- Details-oriented and ready to work in an environment where lack of attention cost money
