**Location**:
Paris or remote (from +2 GMT up to - 6h GMT to ensure sufficient overlap with the rest of the team).

**Mission & Responsibilities**:
As a Senior Web3 Engineer in the Integration team, you'll be crucial in accelerating Morpho's technical developments. You'll build and optimize automated systems, mentor junior team members, and contribute to creating efficient, scalable solutions for the DeFi ecosystem.

**Technical Architecture & Development**:

- Design and implement suite of bots on top of Morpho to automate routines and enhance market efficiency.
- Develop reusable bots for external builders, focusing on liquidations and specific snippets.
- Propose and implement efficient architectures for risk curators to utilize our tools effectively.

**Code Quality & Mentorship**:

- Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior profiles to maintain high code quality standards.
- Improve testing suites and overall codebase, providing constructive feedback on existing systems.
- Share your deep web3 knowledge with the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

**Project Ownership***:

- Take full ownership of the automated bots for Morpho, from conception to implementation and maintenance.
- Create complete, turnkey products for risk curators that are fully tested, efficient, and resilient.
- Implement features and fixes based on risk curators' feedback and evolving market needs.

**Must-have Experience & Skills**:

- 5+ years of software development experience, with a strong focus on backend engineering.
- Extensive experience in building arbitrage/liquidation bots in DeFi ecosystems.
- Deep expertise in TypeScript and proficiency with GitHub.
- Strong web3 skills including ethers.js/viem, GraphQL, and broad knowledge of EVM and Solidity.
- Ability to set up and manage various services on AWS (API, scheduled Lambda, etc.).
- Native-level fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Exceptional abstraction capabilities, able to quickly grasp complex concepts like IRM or liquidation math.
- Proficiency in handling big numbers and complex mathematical operations in DeFi contexts.
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines in a web3 environment.

**Nice to Have**:

- DevOps/serverless knowledge (Terraform, AWS).
- Smart contract development experience.
