We are recruiting, within the Business Development department, a Director M&A (F/M) based in Carros (06).

The Director M&A is in charge, under the leadership of the Head of Business Development, of generating growth for Virbac through a large array of business development (BD) activities, including acquisitions of companies, products or technologies, and to a minor extent the optimization of the Virbac portfolio through divestments, on a global basis.

Your main missions:
The main mission of this position is to lead, conduct and execute the BD projects in close collaboration with the other members of the corporate, regional and local Business Development teams and all the relevant functions that are involved in BD activities:
- End-to-end project management and negotiation of BD deals until signing / closing- Integration of BD transactions post-closing and follow-up activities

Your profile :- Experience in other areas that are closely related to Virbac’s core business like business or marketing positions in the animal health or life sciences industry is a plus.- Synthetic and able to keep in mind the overall vision of the transactions/projects he/she manages- Strong analytical skills and expertise in risk analysis, deal structuring and execution- Ability to work with a high diversity of stakeholders (e.g., clients, partners, financial institutions)- Negotiating skills and ability to work with other parties involved in structuring deals, from lawyers to accountants to investment banks- Balanced and transparent, he/she has got solid communication skills, both oral and written- Leadership and drive, in particular capacity to keep moving topics forward without formal hierarchical authority to do so- Energetic, positive, passionate and strongly motivated individual, that is not easily deterred-
- Excellent command of English and at least one other “major” language (French, Spanish, Mandarin,)
